The 12th modern running of Falcon Motor Club’s March Hare Trial, the only Classic Reliability Trial to be held in the Chilterns, takes place on Sunday 7th March 2010.

2008 saw a major milestone being passed as the event was the 50th anniversary of the very first March Hare Trial. Remarkably the modern event still uses some of the sections from the very first event.

The trial will follow the familar format of previous years (but with variations), and as usual will provide competitors with an enjoyable full days sport in the lovely Chiltern countryside. At least 13 competitive sections and two special tests are on offer, providing a challenge to both novice and experienced crews.

The organising team every year comprises well known and experienced trials competitors, thus guaranteeing a superb event which is held in the beautiful countryside of Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

The start as usual will be at the friendly Watling Street Truck Stop, very close to the M1 junction 9. Thanks go to June Wynne for allowing use of the facilities yet again. Competitors are encouraged to arrive early in order to enjoy a hearty breakfast before starting out on the days activities. Fuel is available at the adjacent filling station.

This year there is a new finish venue at the Chequers Inn, Redbourn, just a short distance from the start. The Chequers is a "Chef & Brewer Pub Restaurant" and the full menu will be available with no prior booking necessary.

The National B event is open to all members of clubs belonging to the ACTC, ASEMC & AWMMC although the event is not a championship round. The Clubsport section is open to Falcon Motor Club members and members of Stroud & District MC, MGCC, VSCC and the MCC who do not hold an MSA competition licence.
