"With several approach roads flooded and all our venues completely water-logged, it is with regret, but no surprise, that we have to cancel this year’s March Hare Trial. Thank you if you offered to help and for your entry if you had entered. The March Hare will return next year refreshed and hopefully drier." 13th February 2014

The 16th modern running of Falcon Motor Club’s March Hare Trial, the only Classic Reliability Trial to be held in the Chilterns, will take place on Sunday 2nd March 2014.
2008 saw a major milestone being passed as that years event marked the 50th anniversary of the very first March Hare Trial. Remarkably the 2014 event will still use some of the sections from the very first event.
The organising team every year comprises of well known and experienced trials competitors, thus guaranteeing a superb event in the beautiful countryside of Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
Both the start and finish are again at the friendly Chequers Inn, Redbourn, just 3 miles from the M1 junction 9. Trailer & tow car parking is available a short distance away. Breakfast, snacks and drinks will be available from 7.30am, and post-event meals/refreshments are on offer at very reasonable prices [the venue is a 'Chef & Brewer' Pub/Restaurant, and booking is not necessary]. Competitors are strongly encouraged to patronise the venue in order to ensure the facilities remain available for future use.
The National B event is open to Falcon Motor Club members and all members of clubs belonging to the ACTC, ASEMC, ACSMC & AWMMC although the event is not a championship round. The Clubman section is open to Falcon Motor Club members and members of Stroud & District MC, MGCC (Midland Centre), VSCC, Eastbourne & Ram MC, West Suffolk MC, Farnborough District MC and the MCC who do not need to hold an MSA competition licence. The event is limited to 50 starters.
